Here at BRIGHT FUTURES NOW, INC., we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2018, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

MISSION & HISTORY.

Bright Futures Now, Inc. assists families with economic, educational, health and legal needs through developmentally projects while incorporating standards of community stability and care that transform lives.

Bright Futures Now, Inc. began as pilot youth mentoring program for middle school girls. We partnered with West Virginia State University Department of Social Work, 4H Extension Services, The Bob Burdette Center under Emmanuel Baptist Church, and other groups to provide career guidance and STEM experiences. The program had as its goal to introduce girls to social, careers and vocational opportunities to improve high school graduation and college and vocational rates during its 5 years. During its final year, the executive committee voted to expand Bright Futures Now. Thus, in the latter part of 2018, Bright Futures Now, Inc. was licensed in West Virginia and received 501c3 status and began providing programs and services to meet its goals.
